Decks

A deck can be a very valuable external addition to your home. Everyone wants somewhere they can enjoy the weather without having to drive to the closest park. ARMA has made some gorgeous ones for many of our clients, anything from a wraparound to floating decks.

From modern, more minimalistic designs, to the classic, traditional decks with those beautifully ornamented railings, we make them all. One of the best parts of decks, is that they don’t have to be identical in design to the rest of your house, especially if they’re floating or detached. This gives us a lot of free room to work with.

If you already have a deck, but it’s getting old and creaky, you’ll need some maintenance. Our carpenters and contractors will inspect it for any structural weaknesses and see what needs a little touching up. Whether it’s the posts in the ground having gone moldy or a few loose deck boards, we’ll find and fix them up for you.

Most decks in the country are made of redwood or cedar, which are both very durable and naturally insect-repellent. But even the best decks, built with modern equipment and materials will begin to age over time. Things like mold, corroded wood from constant exposure to moisture, also the general wear and tear can result in structural hazards. ARMA inspects and fixes any and all maintenance problems of your deck, bringing it back to top shape.
